Happy Fall, Bells Mill community! While the weather kept us from holding the Back-to-School Picnic, the season is just getting started, and we’ve got lots of fun events ahead. Here’s what’s coming up next month:

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Colony Grill last week for our first restaurant fundraiser of the season! Congratulations to Amy Stolker, winner of the Colony Grill gift card raffle. And a big thanks to Shara Reiter and Danielle Somers for organizing the Colony Grill fundraiser.
Mark your calendars—our next fundraiser is our annual Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins on October 9. More details coming soon!

Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15). Students will be attending a special Cultural Arts Assembly in October to honor this important month. In addition, we’re inviting Hispanic and/or Latino families to create posters that showcase the diverse countries and cultures we’re celebrating. Ms. Pilar Busto, one of our parents, is helping coordinate these family posters for our school.
If you’d like to participate and create a poster for display at Bells Mill, please fill out the Poster Submission Form by October 1, 2025.

Each week, the PTA will share information from other schools in the cluster or community programs that provide opportunities to connect and help each other. If you have anything you would like to add, email communications@bellsmill.org. While these are not sponsored or endorsed by the BMES PTA, we’re happy to help share information as appropriate.

Due to the weather forecast, the PTA has had to make the hard decision to cancel tonight’s Back to School Picnic. If you have pre-ordered pizza, you can collect it at school between 5:15pm – 6pm. Please use the carpool lane and stop at the front door so volunteers can bring the pizza to your car.
The PTA is disappointed to have to cancel one of our favorite events, but we hope you’ll join us at one of the upcoming fall events: Scoop Night (October 9), Breakfast with Bears (October 13), Trunk or Treat (October 25) and Bingo night (November 6). … Read Full Post
