As we suspected, given the rain and wind forecast for this Monday, Breakfast with Bears will be rescheduled to Tuesday, October 14. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this unusual fall weather!

On Tuesday morning, donuts, juice, and Starbucks coffee will be served from 8:30am to 9:05am. Water will be available to fill up your water bottles.

1. Please do not park in the bus loop.

Our Bells Mill PTA Membership Drive is in full swing, and we’re making great progress! So far, 207 families have joined—thank you!

Our goal is to reach 250 families by October 24, and we’re just 43 families away. Let’s do this, Bears! Right now, 2nd grade is leading the pack with the highest percentage of PTA members and is on track to win the brand-new Bells Mill Croc Jibbitz! Here’s the current grade-level breakdown:

• Kindergarten: 51%
• 1st Grade: 52%
• 2nd Grade: 54%
• 3rd Grade: 52%
• 4th Grade: 50%
• 5th Grade: 41%

Breakfast with Bears is a PTA fall tradition for our families to meet and enjoy some light breakfast refreshments on the blacktop before school. We encourage all families to attend and make some new friends! Breakfast is currently scheduled for Monday, October 13, from 8:30am to 9:05am. Unfortunately, the Celebrity Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins, originally scheduled for this Thursday, October 9, has been postponed. We know this news is disappointing, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Details about a new date will be shared as soon as they are available.

Please join us at our first general PTA meeting of the year tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7, at 6:30pm in the APR. All parents are encouraged to attend! Bar-T will be providing complimentary childcare for school-age children during the meeting; pizza will be provided! This service is available for the first 60 children.
