Did you know the PTA supports academic enrichment at Bells Mill? We’re happy to report that we have used a portion of our Academic Improvement Fund to purchase 8 Amplify CKLA 3rd grade readers, 25 Amplify CKLA 5th grade readers, and additional component kits for the Bridges Math support system. Supporting the PTA supports our students!

The Bells Mill PTA is on a mission — and it’s a BIG one! We’re rallying together to support our amazing students in the most fun (and yes, a little competitive!) way possible. But here’s the thing… we can’t do it without YOU. Every dollar donated and every minute volunteered by our incredible families makes a real difference in our school community.

Join us for the upcoming PTA meeting on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 pm. Dr. Smith and Mrs. Tilkens will review proposed allocations for the 2026–27 school year, and we’ll share an update on the ongoing boundary study.

The meeting will be held on Zoom. Registration details will be sent on Monday, March 2.

The BMES International Festival returns on Friday, April 17. The event will offer displays, performances and food from around the world that celebrates the rich cultural diversity of our school community! Don’t forget that the PTA offers a $60 reimbursement per country table to help cover food, crafts, decorations, and other materials.

Only a few months to go before the school year comes to a close, and we’d love to showcase memorable moments in the school yearbook.

Yearbook photo ideas include:

• Sledding at the Bells Mill Hill
• PTA events – Bingo, Breakfast with Bears, Trunk or Treat, and more
• Fall Festival – parade and classroom parties
• Restaurant Nights
• Field Trips
• Chorus and Instrumental Music concerts
• Sports teams or clubs connected to Bells Mill
• Class projects and other special classroom moments

The Winston Churchill High School PTSA Special Education Committee has invited Kimberly Glassman, Esq. to discuss your rights regarding IEPs and 504 plans on March 11 at 7:00 pm.

This meeting is virtual and open to all the Churchill Cluster schools. Please use this link to join the meeting.
