MCPS will release new boundary options on December 1, which include the recommendation to utilize Crown High School as a temporary holding school for upcoming projects and the potential use of a hybrid option for local students. These new options will not replace the current options A-D, but will be added as additional options for consideration.
MCPS will host in-person and virtual sessions the first week in December: 12/1 at 7:30pm virtually, 12/2 at 6:30pm at Gaithersburg High School, and 12/4 at 11:30am virtually. Also to note, the programs analysis will go ahead as planned on a similar timeline. We are in Region 4 with Richard Montgomery, Churchill, Wootton, and Rockville High Schools.
We encourage you to review the meeting slides which will be presented at today’s Board of Education meeting, and to continue to submit survey responses: Link to Survey. The survey deadline has been extended, so you can submit feedback after the additional option are presented on December 1.
