Bells Mill Elementary School PTA

On March 9, Bells Mill students enjoyed a special assembly presented by Story Tapestries in recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Through engaging storytelling, movement, and performance, presenters Arianna Ross and Jessica Wallach invited students to explore themes of disability, difference, and belonging.

Using folktales such as Thumbelina, the performers encouraged students to imagine the world from different perspectives and connect with the experiences of others in a creative and meaningful way. The Bells Mill Elementary School PTA is seeking a parent volunteer to serve as our representative to the NAACP Parents’ Council. The NAACP Parents’ Council works to support equity, access, and excellence for all students across Montgomery County Public Schools. The representative attends monthly evening meetings (typically virtual), shares relevant updates with our community, and brings questions or concerns from Bells Mill families to the broader council.
