Bells Mill Elementary School PTA

We are so proud and pleased to announce the honorees for this year’s MCCPTA Reflections Program. The following Bells Mill students won awards at the county level and will move onto the state level competition:

Dance – Jennifer Dong, Award of Merit (Primary group) – 2nd Grade

Visual Arts – Brian Xin, Award of Excellence (Intermediate group) – 3rd Grade

Literature – Caden Xin, Award of Excellence (Primary group) – Kindergarten

Photography – Candice Xu, Award of Excellence (Intermediate group) – 3rd Grade

Music Composition – Brian Xin, Honorable Mention ( Intermediate group ) – 3rd Grade

Thank you to all of the students who submitted entries this year, to Holly Cullum & Xiaoxiao Han for leading the Reflections program and all of the judges!

Last week in the Community Corner we shared information about the Churchill Girls Basketball Community Night originally scheduled for tonight (1/16). Because of the weather (again!), that event has been rescheduled to Monday, January 22. Come out and support the Lady Bulldogs; JV plays at 5:30PM followed by varsity at 7:15PM. Students from all WCHS feeder schools are invited to attend the game free of charge. Enjoy concessions, giveaways and games for the kids at halftime!… Read Full Post

Happy New Year to all Bells Mill families from the PTA. We hope you had a safe and relaxing holiday break and are excited for 2024. The PTA has many activities and programs planned for the New Year, and we’ll continue to share updates weekly in the Bear Post with more information. Thanks for your support of the PTA and the extended Bells Mill community.

FLEX academies will be offering programs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Enrollment is now open and spots are limited. View flyer here for classes and schedule.

While the PTA helps coordinate this program, FLEX academies administer the programs and coordinate with the individual providers, as well as provide a staff person to ensure the safe dismissal of students. For more information about a program, please email [email protected]
